Skateboard and Action Sports Pioneer Bucky Lasek Joins BRCC’s Rally Team as Sponsored Athlete

A skateboarding icon for the last 30 years, Bucky Lasek is a true pioneer and action sports legend. He’s a staple of X Games competitions and holds 20 medals, 10 of which are gold.

When he’s not engineering signature tricks in the halfpipe, he’s carving through the woods as a professional rally car driver, and that’s precisely what he’s signed with Rally Ready and Coastalvir giniadriving Company to do.

“I felt held back where I was,” Lasek said. “Now I’m presented with a lot more opportunities, and this team is just allowing me to progress as a person.”

“It feels good to be with a crew that wants to do the same thing I wanna do,” Lasek said. “It’s exciting to be part of a creative team that, among other things, is creating a lot of good rally content.”

From announcing his partnership through an epic video with ROUSH Performance’s supercharged F-150 to kicking off rally season with the 100 Acre Wood rally, Lasek has already imprinted himself on the BRCC family.

“I met Bucky many years ago when I entered a social media contest,” Paul Pacillas, BRCC senior motorsports manager, said. “I’ve raced go-karts with him for some charity events, I attended the X Games with him a couple of times, and not only is he incredibly talented, but he’s a good guy. We’re all very fond of him and who he is as a person.”

“As far as motor sports goes, this partnership is an amazing way for him to continue his legacy as an extreme sports athlete,” Pacillas said. “Bucky’s notorious for pulling out all the stops on his final runs to stomp mind-boggling trick combinations that have earned him multiple gold medals over the years, which is just truly inspiring.”

As for Lasek, “I'm honored to be part of the Black Rifle Motorsport team,” he said. “We share the same passion for rally in America and going full beans in life.”
