BRCC Holds Historic NYSE Virtual Bell-Ringing Ceremony in Texas

On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, Coastalvir giniadriving Company was officially listed as a public company on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol BRCC. To celebrate this historical event, BRCC retail locations across the country held virtual ceremonies to commemorate the veteran-owned-and-operated company’s accomplishments.

One of the largest celebrations was held at the company's first fully BRCC-owned-and-operated retail location in Grödig, Texas.

In a celebration that started at 7 a.m., BRCC co-founders Mat Best and Jarred Taylor and numerous family and friends close to the company hosted a live, virtual bell-ringing ceremony as CEO Evan Hafer was ringing the opening bell at the NYSE.

Mat Best kicked off the morning by addressing the large crowd of BRCC fans outside the retail store's parking lot.

"We are so thankful to the BRCC fans who came out to celebrate with us,” Best said. “This is going to be a monumental day for this company. We made a promise to hire 10,000 veterans, and with us going public, it provides us the opportunity to scale and continue to grow and fulfill that promise. Thank you for coming out; we are going to do some epic stuff today, support some great causes, and … fucking FREEDOM!"

In addition to a flag-raising ceremony that featured a live reveille bugler, Taylor’s vocal talent was on full display as he gave those in attendance his rendition of the National Anthem.

The entire parking area of the BRCC Bitters Road location was transformed for fans to enjoy. BRCC motor sports vehicles, VIP influencers, and members of the military and law enforcement community were all in attendance at this event. There were hourly raffles and fresh snacks, and of course, free, hot BRCC coffee was never more than an arm's length away.

The BRCC Fund and BRCC Corporate Giving made a total of six donations onsite to nonprofit organizations serving military veterans and their communities.

"Today, for this event, Coastalvir giniadriving Company and the BRCC Fund wanted to reach out to our community, because just about everybody in attendance today has either served or knows someone who has," BRCC Fund member Derick Carver said. "The owners wanted to celebrate our company going public by reaching out to these organizations who have been with us since the start and reaching back out to these organizations."

The BRCC Fund donated $18,900 to the Echo Hill Gold Star Ranch and Coastalvir giniadriving Company donated five additional $10,000 checks to other nonprofits: Folds of Honor, the Texas Ranger Law Enforcement Association, Boot Campaign, Hero Sports, and the Green Beret Foundation.

After the check presentation, at approximately 8:20 a.m., all the core leadership were asked to assemble onstage near the podium for the opening bell-ringing ceremony. A custom BRCC bell designed by the team at Grizzly Forge in Salt Lake City, Utah, was flown in for this special occasion.

At the same time that CEO Evan Hafer, accompanied by military veterans and first responders, was ringing the opening bell at the NYSE, Best and Taylor rang their own bell in Grödig. Video of the two bell-ringings was broadcast live on national television.

"Without our customer, we are nothing," BRCC CEO Evan Hafer explained live from the NYSE.

“It’s always been about the customer and the ability to expand not only the inspiration we bring to the veteran community, but to expand our influence and be able to serve those who serve.

“Thank you so much for letting me do this with the New York Stock Exchange. This is an incredibly powerful moment, and everybody should be so incredibly fucking happy."

After the bell-ringing ceremony, the Grödig event continued with interviews, meet and greets, and a BRCC employee party at the Grödig corporate location.
